Laura Radford is a London based Unit Stills Photographer working in the Film and Television industry. She belongs to BAFTA CREW an initiative set up by BAFTA to support the top behind the camera talent in the UK. She is represented by Berlin Associates.
Television credits include 'Call The Midwife' (BBC), 'Lucky Man' (Sky), 'Delicious' (Sky) and Informer (BBC). Feature Film credits include recent Oscar winner Sam Rockwell in Hadi Hajaig 'Blue Iguana', Film Four backed production 'Saint Maud' and BBC Films production 'The Visitor'. A recent highlight also includes working with the reunited cast of Four Weddings and The Funeral for their Comic Relief Red Nose Day Special.
Laura's background is in Marketing achieving a 1st class degree from the University of Newcastle (2006). She settled for a career in the London agency world before moving to Vancouver for a year of self discovery in 2010. It was that eureka moment when she found herself booked for a couple days attending Clark Kent's High School Reunion as a background extra on 'Smallville' that she discovered the role of an on set photographer.
Returning to London in 2012, Laura set up her photography business and started life as a stills photographer. She continues to build momentum, striving to create impactful images whilst finding the perfect balance of getting the shot and being unobtrusive on set.
When not on set, Laura has been working with corporate clients photographing events and conferences for the likes of Mercedes, Knight Frank, William Hill and Women in Film and Television.
She continues to work on all projects and enjoys connecting with first time feature filmmakers.
